What data we process
- Messages you send us: the contact form does not store data on the website. It only prepares a message in your email app. We receive what you decide to send, usually your name, email, profile and the content of the message.
- Technical server logs: as with any website, the server records technical data for each visit, such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type.
- Browsing preferences: stored only in your browser. See our Cookie Policy.
Purposes and legal grounds
- To respond to your request and take the steps you ask for before any contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and running, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, where they exist (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising and do not make automated decisions that affect you.
Who can access the data
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, namely website hosting and our email service (Google). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in those cases, the transfer must rely on the safeguards set out in the GDPR. We may also disclose data to authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for the security and operation of the website.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to the email above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
